Clients preparing to enter a new market often ask us for a written Quality Analysis Report — sometimes called a Quality Control Act — before they begin formal registration or certification there. It is a documentary review: we examine the composition, technical documentation and labelling of your product against the requirements published for your target market, and set out where the product already meets them and where it does not — so that you can correct problems on paper, early, rather than at the point of import.

Cost and timing
The cost is normally from EUR 2,500 to EUR 3,800 per product position, depending on the product category, the number of criteria that apply and the market concerned. We confirm the exact price and the delivery date in writing before any work begins, and they do not change afterwards unless you ask us to extend the scope. Any third-party costs are passed on at cost and only with your prior written approval.

What we review

1. Screening of the declared composition against substances restricted or prohibited in the target market, including residue limits for pesticides, herbicides and comparable agents.
2. Screening for hazardous or toxic organic compounds, and for components subject to special controls including radiological and other regulated materials.
3. Labelling review: mandatory particulars, permitted and prohibited claims, and symbols that may not be used in the target market.
4. Confirmation that comparable products are lawfully placed on the target market and circulate freely.
5. Restrictions, prohibitions and category-specific conditions applying to the product, based on published regulatory sources.
6. Technical and safety requirements for equipment and its components, and suitability for prolonged use under local conditions (equipment only; sample-based where samples are supplied).
7. Raw materials and defects commonly reported for comparable products, with practical recommendations on prevention.
8. Cultural, religious and dietary requirements affecting acceptance of the product or its ingredients — halal, kosher or ingredient restrictions.
9. Storage, shelf-life and cold-chain conditions for perishable goods, and end-of-life, disposal and recycling requirements applying to the product in the target market.

What you receive
A written Quality Analysis Report issued by SILK RD Limited, stating the products covered and the market concerned, carrying a reference number, the date of issue, the signature of the responsible specialist and our stamp.

The report is issued on our own letterhead, in our own name and under our own logo. We deliver it as a signed PDF by e-mail, with a printed original by post on request.
